Toys Baby and I Adore

A child visiting a candy store will not be having as much fun as one who gets to visit a toy store. Trust me, I know. At this age, I still get the uncontrollable excitement and awe whenever I visit the toy store with my kids. There is this slight envy I feel that my kids were born in such a time that the toys are just so great and the choices greater! However, I have always had this rule about toys. I only allow toys baby will benefit from.

Benefits Other Than Being Fun?

I require myself to purchase toys that I will not regret. I think of the well-being of my child first before starting to consider the well-being of my pocket. Toys do not come cheap nowadays. I need to be confident that the toys baby receives are contributing in a good way to her personality. I want educational toys for her as early as her first week. Toys that will enhance her mental and physical capabilities may be hard to find but are worth the quest and the bucks. Instead of buying a pastel colored mobile that I truly adore for her infant months, which she will not be able to focus on, I would rather close my eyes and purchase a black and white mobile in geometric shapes that I know will be able to help her in learning how to focus her sight and mental perception. Since these toys baby will own and are for her, not me. My own reward would come when because of such toys baby turns out to be a child prodigy.
